Membership Information

Through the hard work of AAABA’s founders and the generosity of numerous AAABA sponsors over the years, the AAABA leadership has upheld the basic premise that membership in AAABA is a wise investment with many benefits and opportunities.

  • Reduced or free admission into AAABA’s many events;

  • Free CLEs, happy hours, and other events (many are open to the spouses and families of members);

  • Access to members only data, including membership lists, job postings, referral networks, etc.;

  • Ability to grow and develop professionally and personally in the community, and in the organization through leadership roles.

Some of AAABA’s significant events over the past few years include: Lunar New Year dinners; first-ever, state-wide APA Corporate Counsel Dinner in Austin; free CLE events for Austin minority bar organizations; service at Volunteer Legal Services clinics; review of Austin judicial diversity efforts; fall career panels for UT law students; our mentoring program for law students; and numerous networking events for members and non-members.
